have you tried updating your browser ?... there may be' add ons' or it just needs to be updated to the latest release. You seem to know what you are doing, and may have tried it already. Also check to see if it the Comp. and graphics cards are compatible with WebGL.

Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions in Australia, the 2020 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race has been canceled. The good news is that the Virtual Yacht Race will go ahead as planned on December 26th. Register now and be part of the tradition. More news to come.

As you have noticed, we are experiencing some technical problems with our servers. Bienvenue à nouveau dans VR, je suis sûr que vous pouvez voir beaucoup de nouveaux changements, l'un d'eux est l'option Voiles automatiques toujours activée. Il existe de nombreuses opinions différentes concernant cette option, mais pour le moment, elles devraient être toujours activées.
Welcome back to VR, I'm sure you can see a lot of new changes, one of the is them is Auto sails option always on. There are many different opinions regarding this option, but for the moment they are set to be always on.

cela se produit généralement avec un Internet plus lent ou un ordinateur qui ralentit, la prochaine fois que cela se produit, essayez de réinitialiser votre modem et le cache de votre navigateur.

Hi Nik, try logging out, close down your browser and then re open it again , clear the cache. Log back into the game. This should help, or try another browser that is also up to date.

quelle méthode avez-vous utilisé pour payer? Apple Pay ou Google ..? .... sur quel appareil (PC ou téléphone)? et quel navigateur utilisez-vous pour la transaction?

oui c'est frustrant quand ça arrive, je pourrais faire une blague et dire que c'est un nouveau programme de distanciation sociale, en vous gardant à 6 pieds des autres bateaux, lol ..... mais malheureusement c'est juste un problème de mémoire ou de connexion. Essayez de redémarrer votre modem et de vider votre cache sur votre navigateur. cela devrait aider. soyez en sécurité.
yes it's frustrating when it happens, i could make a joke and say it's a new social distancing program, keeping you 6 feet from other boats, lol ..... but unfortunately it's just a memory or connection problem. Try restarting your modem and clearing your cache on your browser. that should help. be safe

Yes, when using Course Prog, ( which is based on time, along a projected path). With TrueWindAngle 'off', your boat will sail directly to the 'mark', and then change course direction at the time and angle you have programed. When you set TWA 'on' your mark may shift direction, depending on wind angle and changing pressure systems. but the time will stay the same. Not advisable when close to land and you cant keep watch, as you too will experience the pain of running a ground, like we all have at one point or another. Simply put when TWA is 'on', your boats projected path will "bend" with the wind. It can be unpredictable as weather patterns change and new data is loaded. I highly recommend supervision when using it. Just start playing around with the navigational tools as a guest to get a feel for them, or dive straight in and get a full pack and experiment with a few things...It can be a very useful tool. hope this helps... Thanks for the enthusiasm, but it's unlikely that the race will be extended. Thats the unfortunate thing about the weather its unpredictable, and the calendar is set.
