Why can’t we have the option to disable and re-enable auto sail as and when we want?
paying for the full pack gives you auto sail but you can’t disable it once enabled as far as I can see.
if you don’t pay for the full pack you can select 24 hours or less, but once activated, again you can’t disable it when you want to.
I like the fact it takes care of the sail configuration when I’m fast asleep. But it’s frustrating on short runs between land masses when it’s much faster to not change sails twice than it is to do so.
This is not really realistic as no captain would change sails twice in a short space of time when it loses so much time when leaving the original sail on would not lose nearly as much distance.

Yes, it’s 362,818. Position is changing as others finish, currently 450,721.

It’s showing a more reasonable VSR of around 450,000 now.
but only one XP point for 70 days of racing. 🤣🤦
I guess it takes ages for them to update everything?

My boat is called RAF_Blackace and my mates is Lacelotte.

My mate finished 24 hours after me and everything was updated on his account immediately. He did not miss the start. That’s the only difference between us.

I’ve just finished the Vendée Globe race. I missed the start by about 6 hours but raced for 70 days and finished in a reasonable placing at 14,151.
but my record shows me as 0 races done and my VSR, which was 2500 as a newbie is now about 3,500,000?
is this right? Do you not get classed as having raced if you missed the start of such a long race by just a few hours?

What does the red line in the Vendée Globe race mean around the southern part of the globe. It’s slightly south of me right now. Is it something of a boundary and we’re not allowed to cross it, or does it signify something different?

Wow, thanks 👍Not exactly obvious but now I know it should help me enormously. I’ve spent ages dancing around a sail chance and lost time because of it.
