Peter Reich
I have very much enjoyed my sailing. Really fun. And I am grateful to sail during COVID when racing has been limited. ILCA | Jibing Speed As a ILCA sailor (and other one-design classes). I find the downwind jibing of the ILCA not represent the practical abilities of the vessel and ultimates results in a slug-fest due to the impractical fast speed by which the vessel jibes. It actually jibs no faster if timed, practically than some of the other vessels offered. It would eliminate the unrealistic jibing that occurs down wind and require more strategy then jibing 5 times in 5 seconds...and add to the strategy and enjoyment. I am anxious to hear other opinions and am more than grateful to share the venues with such great sailors.

I have about 11,500 points but this shows Newbie and less than 100 - apparently it did not use my registration. All good though... Really fun.
