old login is not working

Si used to play this game when major sailing races are taking place, obviously this has not been many over the last recent years. I have tried to login again but it tells me login details are incorrect. I have also changed my email address from when I used to play, so can not just change password.

I created this new login, with new email address, but I also cannot pick my old user name.

 

Any way around this?

In fact, the logins were smoothed and optimised in anticipation of the Vendée Globe 20 a little over two years ago, which is still what we call a major race. It seems to me that all unused accounts have been deleted.
