Buongiorno, 

la settimana scorsa partecipando all'evento J/70 "mudminnow Challenge" ho riscontrato una problematica a livello di classifica overall dell'evento specifico. In particolare, la norma prevede di considerare i migliori 6 risultati tra tutte le regate a cui si è partecipato, sommando i relativi punteggi e facendone la media; quindi dopo la 6a regata vengono presi in considerazione solo i risultati che migliorano tale media. Andando avanti con le regate e ottenendo buoni risultati mi sono reso conto che dopo la sesta regata la classifica nn migliorava nonostante avessi ottenuto vittorie e piazzamenti sul podio. Purtroppo non è possibile allegare screenshot per mostrare la situazione. Volevo sapere se altri utenti hanno riscontrato tale problematica o se c'è una spiegazione plausibile. Inoltre, ho notato che il numero di regate riportato in classifica non è quello delle regate veramente svolte.

Good morning,

last week participating in the J / 70 "mudminnow Challenge" event I encountered a problem in the overall ranking of the specific event. In particular, the rule provides for considering the best 6 results among all the regattas in which one has participated, adding the relative scores and making the average; therefore after the 6th regatta only the results that improve this average are taken into consideration. Going forward with the regattas and getting good results, I realized that after the sixth race the ranking did not improve despite having obtained victories and podium placements. Unfortunately it is not possible to attach screenshots to show the situation. I wanted to know if other users have encountered this problem or if there is a plausible explanation. Also, I noticed that the number of races reported in the standings is not the number of races actually run.

la semaine dernière en participant à l'événement J / 70 "mudminnow Challenge", j'ai rencontré un problème dans le classement général de l'événement spécifique. En particulier, la règle prévoit de considérer les 6 meilleurs résultats parmi toutes les régates auxquelles on a participé, en additionnant les scores relatifs et en faisant la moyenne; donc après la 6e régate, seuls les résultats qui améliorent cette moyenne sont pris en compte. En continuant les régates et en obtenant de bons résultats, je me suis rendu compte qu'après la sixième course, le classement ne s'était pas amélioré malgré des victoires et des podiums. Malheureusement, il n'est pas possible de joindre des captures d'écran pour montrer la situation. Je voulais savoir si d'autres utilisateurs ont rencontré ce problème ou s'il y a une explication plausible. Aussi, j'ai remarqué que le nombre de courses rapportées dans le classement n'est pas le nombre de courses réellement disputées.

I encountered similar on the Training 10 challenge. Only counted my first 4 races. Lost out on more than nearly 400 places.  This happened to me before.

Seems to be a common problem that they either can't or can't be bothered to fix.

Bonjour à vous, ce n'est pas les 6 meilleures courses mais la meilleure série de 6 courses d'affilées, trop facile sinon de faire 100 courses jusqu'à obtenir les 6 victoires.

Waht has been described earlier in this forum happened to me last night.  I was taking part in Challenge #68 in the J/70 and was doing really well - much better than I had ever acheived before.

The first thing I noticed was that I wasn't getting any cans at the end of a race.  Then I noticed that I wasn't getting any races recorded.  As a consequence, I know I lost a 2nd and  3rd place.  That was a real disappointment as it would have pulled my challenge ranking up quite a lot.  I submitted maybe about 10 bug reports.

I have lost getting cans before now when my iPad has either frozen or has stopped responding when the can displays.

I agree that it is a big pity that the game developers do not seem to be willing to respond to issues such as the above - it really does diminish one's enjoyment of the game.
